Spiced Mulberry-Leaf Infusion
A gentle, fragrant herbal tea steeped with mulberry leaf and warming spice.

Ingredients
- 2 teaspoons dried mulberry leaf (or 2 mulberry-leaf tea bags)
- 2 cups water
- 1 cinnamon stick
- 2 thin slices of fresh ginger
- 1 strip of lemon peel
- Honey, to taste (optional)
Method
- Bring the water to a gentle boil in a small saucepan.
- Add the cinnamon stick, ginger slices and lemon peel, then lower the heat and let them simmer softly for three minutes to release their aroma.
- Turn off the heat and add the dried mulberry leaf or tea bags. Cover and let everything steep for five minutes.
- Strain into two cups, leaving the spices and leaf behind.
- Sweeten with a little honey if you like, and sip slowly while warm.
Why it earns a place on the plate
Not every recipe needs to be a meal. Sometimes the nicest thing you can make is a warm cup to wrap your hands around in a quiet moment, and this infusion is exactly that.
Mulberry leaf makes a mild, grassy-sweet tea that takes beautifully to a little spice. The cinnamon stick adds warmth, fresh ginger brings a soft heat, and a curl of lemon peel keeps it bright. It is naturally caffeine-free, which makes it an easy choice for the afternoon or evening when you want a drink but not a coffee.
Brew a slightly larger batch and keep it in a flask to sip through the day. Pair a cup with your daily two capsules of Solva if you like a calm moment to take them.
